The Spectacular Spring of Lake Ichifusa
This gorgeous artwork perfectly captures the vibrant spring atmosphere of Lake Ichifusa (Ichifusa Dam Lake), located in Mizukami Village. It is one of the signature seasonal landscapes of our region.

The 10,000 Sakura Trees: The lake is famously surrounded by a 14-kilometer road lined with approximately 10,000 cherry trees. When they reach full bloom, the entire lake is framed in a breathtaking ring of soft pink petals, exactly as depicted in the foreground.
The Iconic Giant Fountain: Shooting dramatically from the center of the emerald waters is the lake’s famous large fountain. It can blast water up to 80 meters (about 260 feet) into the sky! The contrast between the powerful water pillar, the delicate blossoms, and the serene mountains is a truly unforgettable sight.
A Perfect Hanami Destination: Taking a leisurely walk or drive around the lake during the spring season is a beloved local tradition. The falling petals dancing in the breeze over the calm water create a magical, almost cinematic experience.
