Exterior
The legendary “Hayabusa” sleeper express, which once connected Tokyo and Kumamoto, has been brought back to life here in Taragi Town. Featuring its iconic blue body and the proud “Hayabusa” headmark, the train sits at a platform with a wooden roof, perfectly preserving the nostalgic atmosphere of a bygone era of rail travel. This is Blue Train Taragi—a true piece of railway history.

B-Class Sleeper Solo
The train’s “B-Class Sleeper Solo” compartments are now available as unique lodging. The room features a bed with its signature colorful polka-dot pattern, a mirror, power outlets, and the original audio control panel. Although compact, it offers a private and comfortable space equipped with slippers and a small table, allowing guests to relive the experience of an overnight rail journey.

B-Class Sleeper Duet
This is the lower berth of the “B-Class Sleeper Duet,” designed for two people. It provides a more spacious layout than the Solo, featuring a large bed, a foldable table, outlets, hangers, and curtains for privacy. With the ladder to the upper berth still in place, the room maintains the authentic look and feel of the original cabin, making it perfect for sharing the nostalgia with a travel partner.
